It is an excellent B/W Etching on paper. The subject and the title are inspired by one of the 365 drawings of the “Diario delle ombre” exhibited at the MARTA in Herford (D) and published by Kerber Verlag, Bielfeld 2006. The work has been realized by the Italian contemporary artist Andrea Fogli (Rome, 1959). Fogli is an neosymbolist Italian artist who makes sculptures, drawings and small paintings. He is also a writer. His public solo-exhibitions have been held at Rupertinum-Museum Moderner Kunst, Salzburg (2000), and at Galleria d'Arte Moderna, Bologna (2002), both curated by Peter Weiermair, and at MARTA, Herford (2006) by invitation of Jan Hoet. A large retrospective have been held at Casino dei Principi, Museums of Villa Torlonia, Rome (2013). His works by lui are present in the collections of MART, Trento and Rovereto; MARTA, Herford; MACRO, Rome; Ursula Blickle Stiftung, Kraichtal; Gallery of Modern Art, Bologna; Civic Gallery of Drawing, Modena; Parkview Museum Beijing / Singapore.
