The Transumanza is a lovely photograph on Pearl photographic paper realized by the artist Cindi Emond in 2020.

Edition of 10 prints. Hand-signed on the back and numbered. Perfect conditions.

The picture was taken in Italy. This series is a part of the Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival, Toronto, Canada. The festival is on until December 2021. These 6 images capture the story of Frattura Vecchia, which was destroyed by earthquake in 1915. The men of the village were away on the traditional transumanza, where they move the flocks of sheeps to warmer regions of Puglia for the winter.
