Acrylic on Drywall realized by David Euler in 2022.The form, shape, tension and energy in the space between two, not quite touching human bodies has intrigued me for a long time. Here the juxtaposition of to human heads, close but not touching is emphasized by a golden thread that is the head's chin, mouth, nose and forehead. The two side profiles of the heads are placed on a Van Dyke Brown background and painted in a abstract expressionism that allows the imagination to feel the mood of the two heads engaging. The proximity and calm of the heads are also lending to an intimate relationship, almost as if they are sharing a secret or an understanding. The Artist used Acrylic on DryWall because of its unique absorption and fresco-like feel.
