"Inchiodato" is an oil painting on wood, created by the Italian artist Salvatore Travascio in 2003 It is part of a series of paintings entitled "Instability", a reflection on how destabilizing the lack of certainties can be, but at the same time, by accepting this state, it is an opportunity to ask yourself new questions and give yourself new answers, thus moving towards a process of growth and gradual elevation of one's being. "Nailed" represents precisely the stubborn bond with one's certainties, even when these are lacking and which do not always represent one's most intimate needs. In reality it hides within itself the fear of the new, what results is immobilism and consequently lack of growth. Hand signed on the back, very good condition.
