Pine Dew - Photography realized by Michael Burgess."From my time living in a studio in the woods, on the Niagara Escarpment, located in Ontario, Canada.  That experience provided me with the opportunity to take excursions into the forest on a daily basis.  It was a period of time when I was able to reflect on nature, away from the busyness of urban life, during each of the four seasons of the year. ""Life Cycles have always been an enduring subtext throughout my work.  During my time living in this secluded woodland, I took hundreds of photographs from nature.  This particular scene has always provided me with a sense of calm.  It brings me back to all of the senses that I experienced with a morning walk in the woods.  Even the repellent Pine needles could not escape the embrace of morning dew."
